To promote nanotechnology development and encourage researchers, awards are given for two categories, research innovation (Symposium) and industrial technology (Exhibition), in recognition of outstanding technology/product development and research result.

Works produced within the latest one year and presented at Nano Korea will be judged. Any work with similar content that has been previously awarded will be excluded.

Award is given to recognize the work of an outstanding new researcher and to promote greater participation in the poster presentations.

Posters participating in the Nano Korea Symposium Poster Session and that have registered for the Best Poster Awards competition will be judged.
